The Toy Fox Terrier is well suited to apartment life because of their small size. They can also adjust to the lifestyle of their owner. They are very energetic and like to be the center of attention every now and then. This dog does not do well as a strictly outdoor dog and should be given a sweater in cold weather.
This high-energy breed does require some exercise, but their needs can be easily met by running around the house or taking occasion walks. They will bark or dig if they don’t get enough exercise or attention, acting like the spoiled bratty child. They love to play games with their owners and love to play with toys.
