Become an expert on what your puppy can and cannot eat, there are a lot of household foods that are toxic to dogs.
Bathe your dog at least once every 3 months. Depending on the breed some dogs may need more frequent baths.
Always provide your puppy with clean, fresh water at all times. Make sure to frequently wash water and food dishes.
