Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog
Female, Born on 01/18/2022 - 2 years old

All About Me!

Beautiful and very sweet registered NALC female Catahoula. She was attacked by 5 other dogs, and almost died several times but we managed to save her. It has been a long road to recovery. Probably the most damage I have ever seen a dog sustain and still survive. She has been in intensive care for 3 months. She is almost healed with the exception of an elbow that has not grown skin back over it yet. She had 3 blood transfusions, treated for pneumonia and about 1/4 of her skin was ripped off. This female is shy at first but very sweet and so goofy. She does well in the house and is crate trained. She would do best in a home with no other dogs, but gets along with the really laid back dogs in our veterinary clinic. I am a licensed veterinary technician and practice manager. We will be very selective where she goes. If you think your heart is big enough to welcome this girl in your home just message me. She is very passive and submissive for a Catahoula. She needs a pet home. She is not cut out for a working dog. We are asking for a rehoming fee due to the massive amount of money spent saving her life and to make sure she goes to a home that intends on taking good care of her. When I say she is a walking miracle I mean it. She has defied all laws of nature by surviving this and we would love to see this goofy girl in a loving home with lots of attention. She is up to date on all vaccinations. She will have scars but considering she started off missing so much skin and muscle off her body she is looking great!
