All About Me!

Special Needs Dog. This is Happy. She is an absolute sweetheart! She just turned a year old. Happy is a Pure Spanish Mastiff and is absolutely beautiful! We got Happy as a puppy, and she had a very bad heart murmur. (We knew this when we got her) Due to this she cannot be spayed, and she should Never be bred. So, if she goes to a home with other dogs, they must be fixed! She also has a slight cherry eye in both eyes. It does not seem to bother her and does not cause any issues with her eyesight. (This also cannot be fixed as she cannot be put to sleep to fix the issue) Happy has been a joy to have and we love her to death but unfortunately, she is not good with our livestock. She may be ok with bigger livestock if she had another dog to play with (like cows). She is also not good with cats. I would love to rehome her to a couple or family who has a big yard for her to run and play. She does fine with other dogs, but she would probably be better with a bigger dog. Happy is great with children! We have a 9-year-old, and she does excellent with him. Due to Happy having a bad heart murmur, she may not make it long. But she may live for years. She does not act like a dog with a heart murmur. She runs and plays just like normal. I have had her on a leash, but I would not say she is leash trained. She has been in the field with our goats, so she is used to being outside. Delivery is available for an additional fee.
