The entire litter (10) is cute, cuddly, assertive and playful - Krazelberg is no different, with a longing look of "pick me," he tends to sit quietly and wait for the commotion to die down, contemplating and watching, observing and learning. The males of this litter tend to be situated with a similar demeanor, although today I took them for a walk with the parents and one of our streams that has been dry for much of the fall, finally has water to be crossed; this was an anomaly to the puppies as they had no idea how to ford the new obstacle. The females stood back and watched as the males, 1 by 1, took turns leaping by faith ... mostly to their temporary dismay as they kept landing in water. Lesson learned, however, as risk eventually gave way to caution, for all of them.
