All About Me!

Meet Rye!! He's from our Josie x Luka litter born on September 7, 2024. Rye looks very similar to his brother, Sourdough, with a little less white on his face. He is the last available from this litter of 7. Personality wise, he is very a sweet and loving little teddy bear. He's doing well with bath time and is growing into such a handsome, healthy young man! I love caring for the puppies at this age. Rye is also doing really well with potty training, going in a designated spot indoors and pottying outside every time we go out. He's being socialized with adult corgis, normal household sounds, aerosol spray cans (spraying dry shampoo in the other room), men with hats and beards, and siren sounds. This litter was introduced to Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises starting at 3 days old, which is believed to kickstart the neurological system earlier than normally would be expected, leading to improved cardiovascular performance, strong heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and greater resistance to disease (according to AKC). They are given age appropriate vaccinations and dewormed regularly. While I don't have a stud dog in my program yet, I select only the best partners from trusted breeders. Luka is a stud from Oak Leaf Circle Corgis out of Northern Alabama. Health and safety are top priorities, with all breeding dogs tested for Brucellosis before any pairing. Both parents are also tested for DM, EIC, Vwd1, and Pra3, ensuring that all puppies are free from genetic predispositions to disease.
