All About Me!

Hello, my name is EMERALD. Sorry its such a weird name, but that's what I was given! Remember, it is only temporary and you can name me a better name like "Piper", "Iris", or "Pearl" or some other cool name! That would be great! I am showing off my light green collar. I am very active until I eat, then I get sleepy because my belly is full. I love playing with my brothers and sisters, I love to interact with people, I love to just play and run around. When its quiet time, I bundle up with my family and take naps. I try to be as good as I can when I get outside to play. Everything is just so interesting as I have never seen grass or twigs or apples and pears. That is the happiest time for me! I am almost ready to go to my new home, but I can't leave until I feel confident so I am thinking at 8 weeks I will know enough to be a successful part of your family. You should come meet me so we can bond a bit before you come pick me up. That would be great! I turn 8 weeks on 9/24 and would love to go to my new home that weekend. I have been to the vets office, what an experience that was! She stuck me with pointed objects and it hurt for just a moment. I am tough though, so I go over that quick. Then she gave me some stuff that I am not sure if I liked it or not to protect me from getting worms. I don't even know what a worm is, but I guess that is a bad thing so I am glad I had that done. She tickled me moved my hips all around and smiled, then said what healthy girl! I guess that means I will be ready to tackle my new life with you! I am a Purebred Labrador Retriever, all black and my mom and dad are registered with this AKC company so I am guessing I will have to register with them to get my official papers. Hopefully, you will help me do that! I have heard that my mom had some other puppies last year, so I think, I am her 2nd group of little puppies. I wonder what happened to all of them? I hope they are all as happy as I am when I get to go to my new home. I have a large fun play area with lots of toys. I put a picture so you can see me playing. I am the one in the middle!
