Maxine “Max”

All About Me!

Here is Purple girl, aka Maxine “Max.” She was named by our son after the character from Stranger Things. She likes to play and though she is smaller than her brothers, she doesn’t let them push her around. She is also very sweet and loves attention. She is mostly reddish brown, but does have some dark brown on her back as well as a dark brown dip stick tail. She comes from a bloodline of of tracker dogs, as her father, Jax, is the son of a tracker dog for a sheriff’s office in Tennessee. We’ve had Jax do some tracking just for fun, like having our kids and nieces hide, and have him find them by tracking their scent. It’s not too hard to train them to track either, because they naturally want to do it. Our adult bloodhounds have also been very good around our twin toddler nieces. We prefer to have adopters pick up the puppies from us, but we are also willing to meet somewhere halfway for adopters that are farther away.
