All About Me!

Meet Poppy! She is a sweet cuddle bug and total couch potato. She is gentle, calm, and affectionate, but also has a playful side. She is on the timid side and will need training and a gentle hand. We got her at 9 months old from a breeder, and I think she did not get a whole lot of interaction. She takes a long time to warm up, but once she does, she is as loving as can be. We are rehoming her because we got her to be a family dog for our two small children, and she is terrified of them. She does fine with other dogs, but she should go to a home with older or no kids. We have had her for going on five months and there's no improvement with our kids. They're just too sporadic and unpredictable for her. She has been using a doggy door. She is very healthy, UTD on vaccines, not spayed. Her parents were OFA certified for hips and DNA tested for common genetic disorders, all clear. She is healthy, no skin issues or allergies and no sensitivities to food. She is ready for her quiet, patient, and loving new home.
