AKC 2yr Male - Houdini

All About Me!

This young adult male is a super boy! Extremely smart and very athletic, bet he would be a top competitor if you wanted to do AKC Dog Sports with him! He is also an outgoing lovebug. He was named Houdini after the great escape artist...for good reason...he does have exceptional abilities to jump...HOWEVER, he is not trying to get away or lead you on a merry chase...he just wants to be by your side and he thinks the fence is in his way. Even as a puppy he would escape the playpen to come sit on your lap. He has never actually tried to "run off" or leave my small ranch. He is naturally an outgoing boy with humans and other animals (has been around horses and some exposure to children). That said he is a bit on the dominant side with other male dogs so it would be worthwhile to discuss personalities if you have other male dogs in the household to see if he would be a good fit. Looking for a permanent home for him...he is a gorgeous, smart and loving boy and seriously needs a home that will give him a great life! I am older and moving in with my children and grandchildren and county rules limit the number of dogs in a household :-( He will go to his new home following a vet visit where he will be neutered, and have a routine physical and vac updates just to make sure he is ready for a new home. He is leash trained, crate trained, and knows basics such as "sit". I have some video of him I can share where he shows off some of his basic training. Please message me with any questions.
