Ms. Lime Green is the smallest girl in the litter but she has a big personality! She loves to follow me around and see new things. Her favorite afternoon activity is walking to the mailbox with Ms. Sunshine, a puppy from an older litter, and me. She is quite a bit smaller than the other girls - her dam had 10 puppies and even with supplemental feedings and a big tummy, she is still a little petite queen! I would still expect that she will be at least 70+ pounds in adulthood. She is very brave compared to her littermates and likes to be where the action is. She spends a lot of time with Alphonse, her sire, or playing hard with her pack. She is all white. For the parents - Alphonse is a ham. He is a male and can be fiercely protective but spends most of his time belly up looking for pets. When he had his X rays done for his hips as part of testing before breeding, he had to be flipped on his back and raised on a table. It is a scary situation for a dog generally. Many dogs require sedation for the X rays to be clear but not Alphonse. He fully fell asleep and had to be woken up to be walked back to the exam room. He then promptly fell asleep again until the Vet brought him some treats. He is a lot more active at home - he does run and guard. He has a farm job guarding livestock that he takes seriously, though he is deeply wary of the garbage truck. He is a great guardian and loves to run with cars when they leave the farm. He is only a ham with humans! Adelaide is the sweetest dog, though I might be biased. She is simply the best. Adelaide is extremely calm and loving. I am Catholic and I name my dogs after saints. She was named for Adelaide of Italy who is the patron saint of princesses. She is certainly my princess. Her favorite activity as a puppy was "tummy time" which is where she liked to lay on people's tummies. She was not picky about the tummy because she loves everyone. Given that she is 80+ pounds now, she curls up next to people more than on their tummies but she is still quite a lover. With her personality, she has been a great dog for training as a therapy dog with the local facilities. Both parents are current on OFA heart, hip, elbow, patella luxation, and genetic testing without any known defects. Alphonse also has full AKC Registration. Puppies are raised on an 80 acre farm 1 hour north of the Twin Cities. Photos of Mom and Dad are included above. They are available for any prospective buyer to meet as well (and super sweet!) Puppies are available to go home starting September 6th. Please note that puppies must be picked up at the farm in Cambridge, MN. Farm visits are available to meet the puppy in advance. All puppies come with a guarantee and a return policy. If for any reason, you are not longer able to provide for the puppy, they must be returned to Triumph Heritage Farm.
