Arthur is a sweetheart. He was first born but he's got the most zen demeanor ever. My husband named him Arthur after watching the movie Arthur The King, about an adventure dog of the same name. Our little Arthur is the most affectionate and kind of the lot. He gives little licks on the ankles while his siblings are inclined to bite. Lol too cute! Arthur has a sense of calm about him and a peacefulness we adore. But he's not a lazy couch Potatoe by any means. He's high energy and loves to play, as one might expect from any border collie. I do believe he is already eager to please. Arthur has a litter mate that almost looks like his twin! His mother is a tricolor Border Collie and his father is half border collie and half blue leopard Catahoula. These pups have been reared by both parents. Weening began at the middle of week 5 and at 6 weeks the pups are thriving on high quality kibble, Goats milk, weening formula and occasional ground beef with egg. Arthur loves playtime, which we do twice a day. And then we also do individual playtime where we take one out at a time and work on different exposure. We have been trying to desensitize the puppies to loud sounds. We try to get outdoors alot, weather permitting. Arthurs entire litter has gone through super dog training in the first weeks and litter box training from 4 weeks on. We used alfalfa Pellets since they smell the most like grass. Arthur is thriving according to birth and growth rates. We are very happy to share those details with you. We are happy to share that information with you and welcome a visit to see where he grew up and what the whelping box and kennel situation where. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold him if you cannot pick him up during your first visit. Jan 20 marks week 7 and we believe it's best to wait till week 7 or 8 for your puppy to be fully prepared to leave the litter and their parents
