Maeves National Parks Farm Shepherd litter We currently have a litter of Farm Shepherds. This is the best of both breeds. They are calm quiet friendly dogs and will watch over chickens and other small animals not to mention the kids. They are low prey drive and will do very well in a city environment also. Both breeds are fiercely loyal and do amazing in agility or hiking partners. They will have what is called a light teflon coat. These are some super smart pups and will be temperament tested and have health checks done prior to going home. They will be exposed to plenty of everyday sounds like vacuums and clippers. These pups were born June 30th. We keep our pups a couple extra weeks to be sure they have the best start possible so they will be ready to go September. Both parents have been health tested for over 100 genetic conditions. Most have a natural bobtail and many have a blue eye. This was a purpose bred litter to add clean genetic diversity to the Old Time Scotch Collie gene pool. Many of these pups are going to breeders and farm homes to add to the conservation of the old time farm dogs.
