OFF-LEASH Trained Choco

All About Me!

INTRODUCING CHOCO! Choco loves being with his owners as much as possible, even if he's in his crate or on his place bed and not directly interacting with them. He does well in the house and is potty trained. When taken into town and/or around people, kids, dogs, etc. that he does not know (like Game Fair 2024!) he is neutral in the environment. Rewards can be his kibble, praise, or play with his handler. He also likes playing short games of fetch. Choco has been put through Shield K9 Inc's 6-Week Elite Off-Leash Obedience Course. He now knows how to perform the following commands in any environment either on- or off-leash: -Loose Leash Walking (on-leash only), -Sit & Down (+ out-of-motion, in-motion, from a distance), -Come, -Heel, -Place (+ from a distance), -Kennel (+ from a distance). On top of this training, Choco has been taken around people/animals/crowds, has had baths and nail trims, has gone shopping at Tractor Supply, gone on hikes, and does well with other dogs. AND he has been exposed to gunfire from a distance (watch it on our YouTube channel!) and is currently learning some bird dog training (Casting and Fetch). The extent of this training will depend on how long his current owner has with him until he finds his new owner. Choco has received his first round of rabies, a health checkup, and Lyme Disease Antibiotic. He is a strong, healthy, happy dog of +/-65 lbs. While he has no papers, people have commented on what a beautiful dog he is. One even went so far as to assume he was AKC registered! What will one's life be like with Choco? One will be able to take him anywhere OFF-LEASH. Imagine: walking down a busy sidewalk with a latte in one hand, a phone in the other and your dog walking next to you in a heel, leash-less. OR taking Choco on the next family vacation and not have to worry about him pulling on the leash or being a bother. If one likes a dog to pet and have as a companion after a trying day at work, they will have that, too. Basically, one will have the dream dog they have always wanted!! Choco will come with an E-Collar Technologies Mini Educator and 1 on 1 private training sessions to ensure that his new owners fully understand how to give him obedience commands, keep him reliable, and manage him properly both at home and in public.
