Skye and Ksantos are OFA certified/tested for hips and elbows, and for eyes, which means there is less of a chance of hip or elbow dysplasia or eye disease in their puppies. We also have a 3 year genetic guarantee which also includes mild hip dysplasia, whereas most other Malamute breeders have only a 1 year genetic guarantee and that only covering crippling hip dysplasia. Genetic problems can show up to the age of 3 years and mild hip dysplasia will turn into crippling hip dysplasia at some point, therefore making a one year genetic guarantee, especially for crippling hip dysplasia only, worthless.
