The Leoberner is a large, powerful combination of two majestic dog breeds, the Leonberger and the Bernese Mountain Dog. Both are known for their impressive size, gentle demeanor, and striking lion-like appearance. They have a dense, water-resistant double coat that can be straight to slightly wavy. They are intelligent and generally eager to please, which makes them highly trainable. They can adapt to various living conditions but do best in homes with a yard where they can move around freely. Leoberners are known for their gentle and affectionate nature, making them excellent family pets. They are particularly good with children and can be very protective and loyal to their families!
