All About Me!

This is a rare breed. There are approximately 1400 Bergamasco's in the United States. Please do your research on this breed if you are interested. Osha needs to be in a home where her family or person is present and giving her love, affection, and attention. Bergamasco's get depressed if left alone and will "act up." This is not their fault as the owner should realize that this breed is high maintenance as far as needing their people. Osha can be food aggressive so we feed her separately from our other pets. Bergamasco's are corded dogs but we have never corded Osha. Information on the breed: https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/bergamasco-sheepdog/ Osha is about 4 years old. She has been tested through Embark and is clear of genetic issues. This also proves her breed. Osha will go home spayed. Our vet does not have an appt available until 03/30, but we are putting feelers out there now for a new home as we imagine this will take time. If you are a match with her and you can get her in earlier than our vet, we are open to that depending on the situation. She enjoys being outside for fun, but she is an indoor dog. She sits on our sofa, snuggles, and does not use a crate to sleep in. She is potty trained. This is a non-shedding breed!
