Her Video: youtu.be/b5AlSwqe9-A This gorgeous, ultra-sweet girl has been retired from our breeding program and is ready to find her forever home! She is an AKC registered, spayed, purebred Basenji. Thus, she doesn't (ie, can't) bark, is very quiet, cleans herself like a cat, very low shedding, and doesn't have a doggy odor and is hypoallergenic. She is about 18-20 lbs. I have had her since she was 8 wks old, I bought her from a breeder in Texas. However, she had a complication with her pregnancy this year and had to be spayed. She is one of my favorite Basenji's I've had! Absolutely stunning, elegant and a wonderful disposition. She loves to cuddle on the couch to watch a movie. She is trained to stay in an x-pen during the day and uses potty pads. Trained not to pull on the leash. Loves to chew on things like empty gatorade bottles, and loves to carry socks around the house! She would probably be best in a home without cats, as she's a bit obsessed with wanting to run to them when she sees them. However, once she gets there, she just wants to play with them. (So she could co-exist with the right cat who puts up with her lol) Would make an excellent apartment dog. Will also make an excellent companion for outdoor activities like hiking, etc.. Will she be your new best friend? Basenji's are small, can't bark, are hypoallergenic & low shedding, clean themselves like a cat, and full of personality! They originiate from the wild dogs of the African Jungle, known as Congo dogs. They are an extremely unique breed, and not common in the United States. Check us out at www.UtahBasenji.com
