All About Me!

We are considering looking for a new home for our handsome Border Collie/Husky mix. He is a great dog, and believe it or not he is not high energy like either of these breeds would suggest, but he does have a herding instinct and will “stalk” other larger dogs when playing and run and tackle them. He doesn’t do it to be mean, but he can play a little rough! Slick would do best in a home with female dogs and no small kids. He is somewhat reserved when someone new first walks in, but then he loves the attention. He’s UTD on shots and around 55-60lbs full thrown. Slick LOVES water, especially lakes or ponds (he hasn’t really gotten comfortable in our above ground pool). He would also probably love to learn to herd farm animals if you had any! This has been the HARDEST decision, but we feel it is in his best interest to find him a home that has more time to commit to him. Requirements- Fenced in yard Someone that is home often or has another dog for him to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes but plays better with dogs closer to his size Be kept as an inside dog primarily, he likes being outside but loves to be with his family more. He is also used to sleeping in our room in either his dog bed or our bed.
