All About Me!

Aster is out of our 6/30/2023 Litter with Nancy and Juno. Both of her parents were/are genetically tested and CHIC certified. Nancy is now retired! Aster is a mix between shy with strangers and outgoing with the people she knows. She can be slightly possessive of her people against other dogs in specific situations (sitting on the couch or bed) so would likely do better with someone familiar with poodles and their (sometimes) idiosyncrasies. She is easily correctable, but her behavior would get worse in the wrong hands. We wouldn’t recommend her for very young children at this time because of that, but she DOES do well with kids and does like them. Dog savvy older kids would still definitely be recommended for her over others. Aster is VERY sweet and loves attention from her people. She does also really like other dogs and looooooves to play and wrestle. She loves chewies and snacks and running in the yard. She did inherit some of her mom’s brain, so she does need things to do that wear her out a bit a couple times a week or she becomes under-stimulated and will bark. Aster is crate trained, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on a slip lead. She also does really well for grooming. Please PM us for more details. She has been genetically tested, but is PET ONLY.
