All About Me!

Unfortunately, we have decided we will be looking to place Bear in a PET ONLY home. We adore Bear but he is not a part of our program due to his temperament and we feel at this point he needs a home where he can get the attention he deserves and somewhere he can thrive. Bear will need to go to an experienced home; he can be skittish with new people, so it could take him longer to open up to you. He is very docile and submissive and will eventually warm up to new dogs and loves older kids when given time and being properly and very slowly introduced. Bear is neutered and will come with his AKC papers. Bear knows a few basic commands such as sit, stay, wait and shake. He is a big sweet goofy boy and makes for a great house dog as he loves to just hang out with us and be lazy! When caught in the right mood Bear loves training and has a good food drive but not much of a ball or toy drive. He would much rather run after the other dogs when playing fetch rather than catch the ball or go after it himself! Bear has not lived with cats or chickens but does have some prey drive and loves to chase birds, rabbits and squirrels, so he may not be a good fit for a home with those unless he is supervised.
