Puppy can be easily trained, apartment-friendly, good for first-time pet owners, have strong loyalty tendencies, good with children, seniors, dogs, cats, families. Havanese dogs have gentle, friendly, outgoing, playful temperament, active energy level, low exercise needs. The high level of intelligence, loving temperament and outgoing personality can make the Havanese dog a good Therapy dog and provide service to children with special needs, patients in a hospital or a nursing home. Havanese dogs can be easily taken on a plane as a carry-on option, because they are small enough to fit under a plane seat, just weighting 7-15pounds and growing 8-12 inches.
