PenniSu has a striking brush/bear coat in a red fawn color that shows more of a copper tone. This color comes from her handsome Daddy, So, that is why we just had to name her PenniSu. Both parents are on-site. In this litter she wins the best cuddle award! We often take her to visit a friend who had a major stroke 3 months ago. PenniSu is so gentle and calm around him. All the nurses come by to see and hold her. She has excellent skin, generous wrinkles, good eyes. She has a stout, muscular build. Based on years of experience with Shar-Pei, I am confident that PenniSu could be a MINI Shar-Pei like her Mommie, it she might be a small Standard Shar-Pei like her Daddy. She’s had a super amount of outdoor play with her littermates on the newly sodded grass in the fenced back yard as well as access to a screened in porch. She is very well socialized and gets generous time with friends, neighbors and grand kiddos. She is a confident and loving pup looking to be adopted into a great home. Pups have been pre-registered with AKC pedigree papers in-hand. Each pup has a 12-point Vet certification of health. The testing indicated that PenniSu had a VERY slight heart murmur. The Vet was not concerned as this is somewhat common in puppy. They generally outgrow it in a couple months. We raise pups in-home. This is our 11th litter over a period of 33years. We fence off an 8x10 area in our large entry foyer. This is their nursery for 3-4 months and is also their night-time sleep space. At 5 weeks of age, we gently begin to housebreak the puppies. Within 7-10 days they are totally housebroken. Yes, really! Shar-Pei are very clean dogs and naturally want to keep their living space clean. Additional pics and info at my e-mail.
