All About Me!

Finn Winston is a charmer for sure! He is afraid of nothing and points routinely yet he has a soul that wants to please and be around family. He has a beautifully ticked coat like chocolate chips! He comes from a long line of hunters and family dogs here at Sandy Mountain Shorthairs. These are beautiful puppies from Casey and Diamond on May 4 - May the Force Be With You - so all are named with Star Wars in mind. Every pup is well socialized with our 14-year-old daughter and 25-year-old son. Every pup is thoroughly vet checked and treated like babies the whole time they are with us. We have been a member here since 2006 (very rare!) so that means we can tell you the story on their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents and beyond and have been dedicated to this bloodline. We have loved them all for the past 25 years. They have hunted near a gamelands in SW Pa. and been treated like family members here. Sandy Mt. Shorthairs all started with Klaus and Gussie 25 years ago! Now, these pups are their great-grandchildren. That kind of commitment to a bloodline and family of dogs is rare to find! We give daily attention and hunt training to this Champion bloodline of GSPs in a rural setting near a Pa. Gamelands site and we treat them like family.
