We are located in Troy Montana, we started out years ago breeding Scottish Terriers, then moved to Saint Bernard's. We adopted a male Akita and fell in love with the breed. After our female Saint passed away. We decided to move to the Akita breed. We have picked a beautiful Akita from a reputable breeder to bred to our female. He is from a long line of champions. Our puppies will be going to approved homes only. You must be educated on the breed before we will place a puppy. The mom of the babies is our pride and joy, she is a very happy dog that gets along with the other dogs in our household. We put a lot of time and training into her to make this happen, since I work from home she has a very stable and structured home life. Our puppies have already been handled a lot and will continued to be as they get older even introduced to the other dogs in our house. We are huge advocates of puppy imprinting.
Puppies are approaching 7 weeks old. Mom has no interest in them anymore except to play. They are now eating solid food and drink plenty of water. We have started the potty training process, so far they are doing pretty well. They are getting used to the cranky old Corgi and the grumpy old Jack Russell, learning they have boundaries not to be crossed. The pups have learned to deal with a narcissistic Rottweiler who thinks all puppy toys belong to her. They are well socialized with dogs & people.
