About our place

My name is Joseph Shelton. I have two pre-teen daughters and we operate a small kennel in the brush country of South Texas. I have been raising beagles since I was 9 years old when my grandfather gave me a pair of beagle puppies. He raised English Bulldogs after he retired from the army and passed on his wealth of knowledge in raising quality dogs to me until his passing when I was 18. Thirty years later, I have continued to raise quality puppies and am passing on my knowledge to my daughters and emphasize the importance in raising puppies of quality, not quantity. Our beagles are all from hunting bloodlines and we breed to enhance hunting traits in our puppies. However, they will make just as good of a lap dog! Thanks for looking and God bless. (903)588-8298
