I've been raising Pembroke Corgis for 24 yrs. Our Corgis are clear of all possible DNA health conditions, having had complete Wisdom Panel DNA testing. I raise calm smart easy to train pups. All of our dogs work with kids with mental health challenges and have exceptional temperaments that are passed down to their pups. We only have 2 females and 1 or maybe 2 litters per year so that our dogs receive lots of individual attention and care. Corgis are very bonded to their humans and do best when they are not competing for attention and are able to go along on car rides and just hangout with their human family.
Why is DNA important? DNA mutations (SNPs) predict the long term health of your pup. While most pups will do well for the first few years, it's in later years where DNA determines ongoing great health or compromised heath. Issues such as DM, Rod Cone dystrophy, Von Wilderbrand's disease, and other diseases can be avoided when picking a pup that has excellent DNA.
