About our place

So lets talk standard poodles! We very quickly fell in love with the unique personalities that standard poodles have and we knew we wanted to share that with as many people as possible! We also wanted to share the option of getting a hypoallergenic breed with other families in our community who might be in the same boat as us! Both of our kids have an allergy to shedding dogs! My husband and I both grew up with dogs and knew we wanted our kids to as well, so with the allergy in mind we knew a hypoallergenic breed was going to be necessary for us. Plus, I just dont do dog hair in my house 🥴 so it was a win-win for me. Standard poodles checked off all the boxes! They are amazing family dogs, loyal to their people and incredibly patient with children. All they want is to please us and love on us as much as possible! They really are the biggest sweethearts 🥰 Their eagerness to please combined with their extreme intelligence makes them so easy to train. They are playful when they know we want to play but they mellow right out when they know we want to relax. They are protective, always keeping a watchful eye on the kids and letting us know when someone unfamiliar is approaching the house. But once they know there is no threat, they’ll act like they’ve known you forever 😂 They are also super goofy and what some might refer to as “derpy” 😂 especially depending on the haircut they have! One of my favorite things is how customizable their haircuts are 🤣 They have us cracking up all the time! In the 2+ years I’ve had Louie and Lady, I’ve never had to take them to the vet for a sick visit. I literally just cant say enough about this breed and my two babies. They make the absolute best family dogs in the whole world 🏆 I don’t know what we’d do without them, they were 100% a necessary addition to our home!
