About our place

At Windgate we are passionate about Cavaliers! We are a family run business in rural SD and our mission is to raise healthy Cavaliers with correct conformation and color markings, that are exceptional companions and lap dogs. Many of our sires and dams have competed nationally and are AKC champions. All of our Cavaliers are health tested for heart, eye, and genetic disorders before they are bred. We breed exclusively only one breed, AKC registered Cavaliers! We occasionally have a few adorable pups that are available to loving homes with kids, seniors, singles, and people with active and laid back lifestyles. Cavaliers love to play, hike, go boating, chase balls and retrieve, ride in cars or tractors and go shopping. They especially love people and no one is a stranger!
