My AKC English Labs produce mainly blacks and yellows, with a few chocolates, and silvers coming. All pups are sold with health guarantee, and I have passed Compliance Certification from AKC. I was lucky enough to start out with a few great dogs in 1999, with my first stud, Big Al, from Snowden Hills Labs. They are raised as farm dogs, and are their own bosses. Before I started with my labs I dairy farmed for 25 years. When you milk big first calf heifers that can put their foot right on top of your head, you better know how to read animals. My dogs know they can do whatever they want, as long as it doesn't make me mad. They leave my neighbors goats, chickens, sheep, and miniature horses alone, but are often playing down by the beaver areas, but strangely, only cross the river when it's most wildly flooded. They let me remove all their porcupine quills, including the most extreme cases, without sedation. Thirty times- plus, I've never had to take them to a vet.
