About our place

We’ve been breeding and training quality German Shorthaired Pointers for 45 years. Our Shorthairs are bred to have plenty of natural hunting instinct and prey drive. We also work to produce GSP’s that are truly versatile that adjust to different situations quickly. Our Shorthairs are intelligent sporting dogs that respond quickly to training and are highly motivated to please and be included in activities. We strive to produce an even tempered companion/hunter that gets along well with people and other animals. It’s important that they hunt for their handler and not just for themselves. We also want a biddable companion that knows when it’s time to go to work and when it’s time to sit down with the family. We have a beautiful property located just south of Austin, Texas. We have plenty of room for all of our dogs to be out of their kennels most of the day. It’s important for our German Shorthaired Pointers to get along well with each other and be friendly with all. We work hard to see that everyone has opportunity to hunt wild birds during the season. We also maintain a supply of pen raised birds for training and maintenance. Most of our GSP’s hunt native quail in South and West Texas with an occasional trip to Iowa to pheasant hunt. We guarantee our pups 100%. We have had great success shipping pups across North America via our Flight Nanny service. Our Flight Nanny carries the puppy on board in a soft kennel and sets the puppy in the seat next to her. The buyer meets the Nanny at arrivals at their airport. This process has worked exceptionally well greatly reducing stress for the puppy.
