About our place

Collins Country Kennels is a family run business. We have two sweet standard poodle dogs, Zion and Zoe. Zion is our handsome and affectionate male standard poodle and the sire of our puppies. We raised him since he was 10 weeks old. He is 25 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs around 60 pounds. Zion's beautiful apricot color and boxier nose (than most poodles) gives him a really handsome and cute look. Zion is always looking to take care of his human family. He loves to lie by our baby and watch over her. He is gentle and sweet natured but also protective and watchful. We have affectionately called him our teddybear. He is CKC registered and tested clear on his Embark genetic health testing. He is available for stud services and would make a great sire to doodle puppies. Zoe is our AKC/CKC registered female and the mother of our pups. She is 21 inches tall at the shoulder, weighs around 45 pounds and tested clear on her Embark genetic health testing. Zoe is a natural mother and takes such good care of her puppies. Zoe's apricot coloring matches Zion. She has an affectionate and playful personality. She would love to be in your lap all the time. Both dogs are calm and affectionate. Our puppies make great family dogs and are well socialized with us and our four children. We give ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) to our puppies on days 3-16. There are five benefits that have been observed in canines that were exposed to ENS exercises during those first 16 days of life. Those benefits are: 1) Improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate) 2) Stronger heart beats 3) Stronger adrenal glands 4) More tolerance to stress 5) Greater resistance to disease By doing the ENS exercises with our pups we are helping to make them dogs that will be more receptive to training, can handle stress better and are healthier in general.
