Thinking about a medium sized dog with a great temperament and much more? Had ideas of getting a "Designer Dog?" Well - reconsider. Griffs will give you that great - "Aw WOW!" look, the fabulous character and easy care of a mixed designer breed with few if any complications. With a designer dog, you get the character of two breeds, as well as the potential for the defects of both. With a WPG pup, you get every bit of the character but none of the doubled up problems. Ear Mountain Griffons is located on 40 acres in East Central Arizona, near Show Low. We have been raising Griffs for more than 20 years and have placed pups in over 40 States and a half dozen Canadian Provinces. Puppies have been shown (and awarded Cert of Merit) at Eukanuba and Westminster, have many that have been successfully AKC and NAVHDA hunt tested and have agility, service, Search and Rescue, antler hunting, big game tracking, and all forms of water fowl and field hunt training. This litter, a great example of the versatility and training capacity of our Griffs, comes from a Falcon hunting Dam who coordinates her field search with hunter, falcon and sometimes a Jack Russell Terrier. Her immediate stock includes a sire from what we consider the best hunting kennel in North America, as well as a long line of our kennel on her dam's side. The Sire is directly from our stock and from West Coast hunting and show stock for a nice compliment to the genetics of the litter. We strive to have first and foremost, wonderful, smart, healthy family dogs. Whether they hunt of not is not so much our concern as that they have active, engaged family homes. And because they are so smart and adaptable, you can train them to do almost anything well. We provide an AKC registration which can also be used to register the pup with NAVHDA or other dog organizations. We provide a health guarantee and a 2 week return and refund policy. This kennel has perhaps the lowest dysplasia record in the hunting dog world - less than 1/2 of one percent. Griffs are self feeders - no foundering on food left out. They are almost shed free, losing regular hairs as we do and they require little grooming - three or four thorough combings a year. And they live on average at least 12 years and often make it into their teens. We have had at least 40 return buyers, who have flown and driven from all over North America to get another of our pups. Join our Griff family. You will wonder at them and wonder more why you did not find them sooner. a pond and training fields in the wild bird country along the East face of the Rockies. All pups are people friendly and field exposed.
