I have always loved the poodle breed and got my first one 14 years ago. She was my best friend and companion. I lost her last summer to cancer and I am dedicating my kennels to her. I am now raising AKC registered, high quality poodles. My dogs are my family and I spend many hours with my dogs and the new puppies and, knowing the importance of preparing them for the world, I begin touch conditioning on the day of their birth. As they grow, I gently get them acustomed to a variety of sights, sounds, smells, etc to make sure they are not frightened or hurt at such a fragile age. I housebreak them to use a litterbox from a very young age and they easily learn to go outside once they are old enough to have better control of their bladder.
The puppies are learning lots! 7 weeks old. Learning to sit for petting and to come when called. Learning lots of new sounds, smells, meeting differant people and other dogs. They are so loving and people oriented!
