GuardianKin Kennels is dedicated to producing healthy well minded working dog with a focus on dogs for service work with the disabled. Our breeding dogs are selected for their health and temperament first with a preference to dogs already working and proven in the field of service work. Every aspect of raising our puppies is to prepare them to go on to working with the end goal of them being a working animal. Our dogs excel at service work, civil work, scent work, tracking, and protection work. The same intelligence, temperament, and drives are put into the foundation of program allowing our dogs the ability and strong desire to do a job and do it well. Puppies begin to be exposed to new sights and sounds at the age of 4 weeks. They will continue to be worked with every day until they go to their new homes and will learn leash walking, be well started on crate training, and have at least 2 vaccines before leaving our care. They are routinely wormed and used to being bathed and having their nails trimmed. They have had time away from their siblings and mothers and exposed to other (fully vaccinated) dogs, cats, and various farm animals by the time they leave.
