Hi I am Becca! Welcome to Havana Rouge Havanese. I have always had a love for dogs and all animals. All of my life has been dedicated to animals in one way or another. I have shown horses, worked for vets, have a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary medicine, worked in the feed and farm industry, and owned a grooming and pet boutique for over 2 decades. I have been breeding dogs for over a decade, and in more recent years have become interested in showing dogs. I have always loved the Havanese breed and fell in LOVE with the red colored Havanese which are pretty hard to find in the USA. So, I began my search, and after much trial and error I came across my little Hot Rod on a reputable breeder's website. I knew he was THE ONE immediately!! And he has proven to be everything I hoped for, and I haven't looked back since. Oh..and now I'm HOOKED on showing dogs!! My champion, Hot Rod (Aka CH Honor Little Red Corvette), is responsible for my love of Havanese! From time to time we will have litters that may have show potential or be just great healthy little pets. They won't all be red, but they will all be gorgeous and come from health tested parents. If you are interested in maybe adding a Havanese puppy (or Havanese puppies) to your family, and you LOOOOOOVE the red like I do, then you have come to the right place!
