About our place

We are hobby breeders of Show, Hunting and Companion Quality English and American Labrador Retrievers. We've been specializing in Labrador Retrievers since 1990, and believe we know the breed very well. Our puppies are raised in their own cabin with wood burner, kitchen, bedroom and playroom. They are able to run and play in 3 acres of woods around a lake, which they love very much! Our Labs are bred for good health, and excellent temperaments.  I have found much pleasure and serenity in having Labradors. God has given me the privilege of watching His Creation unfold as my girls give birth to their family. I spoil all my Mommies with extra care. They get eggs, fish, venison, beef, chicken, cheese, milk, carrots and other vegetables. I make sure to keep a close watch when my girls are ready to give birth. I spend the nights in 'The Doghouse' during birth to make sure there are no problems. The puppies get their first Vet checkup and shots when they are 6 weeks old. They are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks. I guarantee that all puppies are in great health when they leave my home.  I provide web sites and training, health and nutrition information for all new families. I highly recommend puppy classes to each family as a much-needed training experience for the puppy AND the family members. I spend quality time with each new family, teaching, suggesting and answering any questions they may have before allowing a puppy to leave my home.  Keep my information handy if any questions or problems should arise. Our Puppies range between $500.00-$1800.00 on Limited Registration. We Do Not Ship Puppies!! **Sheila Schmidt is from Indiana and breeds Labrador Retrievers.
