About our place

Ali is a wife, mom to 4 kids with a blended family, and cares for 3 of our danes, Nika, Brady and Finley. She lives in Bristol, RI and runs a university counseling department which allows her to work mostly from home. She fell in love with great danes years ago, seeing how deeply they seemed to connect to and care for their humans. She states, “During a time in my life when it felt like my whole world was falling apart, my first dane kept me together. He was so in tune with what I needed and how I was feeling. From that point forward I was hooked.” Melissa is a single mom to 3 kids and 2 of our Great Danes, Onyx and Bruno. She lives in Burlington, MA, works from home in health and wellness, and has always been a dog lover. She partnered with Ali in 2022, with a co-own of Onyx, and has since then completely fallen in love with Great Danes. Together with Ali & Melissa raise puppies in their home, alongside their kids and other dogs. Both women transformed the lower levels of their homes into puppy paradise spaces. Together they provide the highest level of individualized care to their dogs and pups, who are like family. Working as a team, they ensure that every puppy goes home socialized, loved and well cared for.
