Hi, I’m Cait Johnson owner of JoCo Hounds! I’m a lover of long and low dogs! I grew up with dachshunds and we adored them, being a hound lover I wanted to get a larger breed and I fell in love with the bassets! My primary goal is to raise a healthy, beautiful basset that meets the standard of the basset breed and preserve the history and look that a basset should have! Our basset hounds range from 100% European that are AKC Registered to American lines that a AKC registered. Our dogs have been selected for excellent temperments as well as confirmation and health. Our pups come with a health guarantee and are vet checked and up to date on vaccines and deworming! They are raised in our home with love and very well socialized and are used to children, adults and other animals.
