About our place

We live in Lake Arrowhead, California, and love to hike and explore the mountains with Cookie, the momma to the aussie puppies. We had planned to breed Cookie when she was two years, but waited until she was more mature, 3 years and 8 months. That sure paid off. When Cookie’s NINE puppies were born, she was a good mother right away. Her love for those pups and her instincts about how to care for them was spot on. The puppies have had a vet check up, they have been vaccinated and screened for worms (negative!). 4-6 adults play with them daily, so they love to play with people! They have also played with our grandchildren and were great! The puppies are not kept in kennels. They have a large carpeted and fenced play area in the garage with an attached dog house on one end and a crate at the other end (always open), toys, and even stepping stones. They take turns upstairs in the house with Cookie. She loves playing with one or two at a time. The puppies have even played outside in the snow. They loved licking the snowflakes. They love licking noses too.
