About our place

My husband introduced me to schnauzers when we first got together almost 25 years ago. I fell in love with the breed and when we got our first black mini schnauzer we decided to try breeding them. We are extremely particular about anyone that buys our puppies -- they MUST be here in person, MUST get down on the ground and play with them, let them lick their face, give them kisses, hold them like a baby and be willing to dress them up. Schnauzers aren't called the dog with a human brain for nothing! I've talked people out of buying one if they just acted like it was a creature to add to their home. They need to be a family member -- period. We went about 7 years without any puppies -- had bought black and silver female to breed with our Zachary (he was from our Samantha & Mister's last litter) and for some reason she didn't want to cooperate with him. We had pretty much given up until we found Stella. She is a very loving little lady but also watches over very protectively with her babies to make sure no one hurts them. Zach and Stella both hit it off right away and this is their first litter and Stella is an AMAZING mom! I watch all the puppies be born, help break the sack and then let mom finish the cleaning. Then I make sure they get on a nipple right away until the next baby is born. They are in a pen right behind my desk where they get fed and sleep. Once they wake up and they are allowed out into the family room/kitchen where they can roam freely with the adults and really run and play with each other (I work at home) and get tons of love and kisses all day long -- what a way to refocus when you're having a bad day right? They were born June 20th and will receive their first set of shots on August 20th. They are extremely playful and very cuddly as well. Mom and Dad are both onsite so you can meet them.

Puppy Updates

07/30/2023

Only 2 puppies left!! Everyone comments about how calm they are...but weve always had that luck. Yet they are very playful as well. Puppies are doing well with potty training. Race for the door when they wake up and come out of the pen.
