About our place

I am a teacher and my husband a disabled soldier; we live on a small farm where our grandchildren visit often. We take the health of Cavaliers very seriously. All of our dogs are genetically tested through Embark. In addition to their annual complete physicals, our adult breeding dogs as well a few of our pups we have retained are enrolled in a MVD heart study at Virginia Tech Veterinary College. https://video.vt.edu/media/1_fl8x75k7 Both Buxton and Mia in the video are from our breedings and remain murmur free. We took nine dogs total in June 2023 and all were murmur free. We are very proud of this. Temperament is equally important and our Cavaliers are all part of our family, sleeping with family members on the bed. Our dogs have free access to our house and yard as they have a doggie door. Pups are raised in our house as well. All adult cavies have regular complete physicals and have completed genetic testing. We only have a few litters a year and often have a wait list. We want someone who purchases a puppy to become part of our extended family.
