We have never done this before. Our 4 yr old golden retriever had her first set of puppies on July the 28th. She had 9 puppies 5 boys and 4 girls. We are keeping one each. Puppies are ready to go only 2 left. 1 boy and 1 girl. They have been to the vet and have had their first round of shots.
