About me

We are snowbirds from British Columbia Canada and we spend 6 month every winter (about mid October to mid April) at our 40 acre property near Wikieup Arizona. We run a licensed horse training & dog breeding, boarding & training farm in B.C. and come to Arizona with our dogs and horses for winter holidays, usually from mid October to mid April. We have 2 registered Golden Retriever females, one registered Golden Retriever male, a Golden Doodle female and a Australian shepherd female. Our registered Golden Retrievers are really well bred and come from champion bloodlines. They are of the field trial Golden Retriever type, medium to dark coated. Suited for hunting, Search & Rescue, personal assistance dogs, therapy, agility, Outdoor Enthusiasts & active families etc. We breed on a small scale and don't breed our females on every cycle, but every second and sometimes less than that. We retire them from breeding at 6 years old. My husband Don and I both work from home on our farm, so we have lots of time to spend with our dogs and the puppies that we produce. They are brought up well socialized with our variety of dogs and even the puppies have great recall and start going off leash on mini hikes, travel in vehicles, have started on house training, are well behaved & love people. When a litter is born, they spend the first few weeks living in our home with us and when old enough spend the days outdoors on the farm. When we can't watch them, for instance if we have to leave the farm or work with the horses, for their own safety, we have a huge fenced area that has a build in adventure obstacle playground. With dog houses for shelter throughout the fenced area that they can enter or leave at their own will.
