My name is John Althoff and I am the director of a school for students with special needs. My wife is a assistant dean at a local university. We have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. We have 2 awesome Golden Doodles, Huckleberry and Ember. Our male, while an awesome member of the family, was fixed because he had his eyelashes growing into his eyes. We had it surgically fixed, but didn't want this to be genetically reproduced. Our female recently had her first litter and the stud was from another family friend. Both dogs have genetic reports available. Once this litter grows up, we do not plan on her having any more litters. We wanted to go through the process once to provide our family (the kids) the experience of have a dog with a litter of pups as it is an amazing thing. We are selling the litter once they are old enough and will be happy at any time in the year following to rehome the pups with us if the new family runs into issues and they cannot keep the pup. We look forward to meeting the pups new families.
