Our family's love for dogs began with our beloved Ebony, a loyal Labrador and German Shorthair mix who excelled as both a family companion and bird dog. As Ebony grew older, we decided to bring home a new puppy, hoping she could help train and mentor the new addition. Although we initially sought a puppy with a similar breed mix to Ebony's, we ultimately fell in love with Eleanor, a charming Labrador. Eleanor has blossomed into an incredible dog, and we're often approached by people admiring her temperament and beauty. Considering the interest, we decided to breed her, aiming for a litter that combines her exceptional qualities with those of a champion bloodline. While Eleanor herself isn't a bird dog, her parents certainly were! Her dad was a champion bird dog, renowned for his duck-hunting prowess. The sire for our breeding, Zip, is a German Wirehaired Pointer from Montana, boasting a pedigree of champion bird hunters. He's papered and certified. I don't consider myself a professional breeder; this is only our second time breeding Eleanor and we have done this out of pure love for the breed.
