About me

Hello! I’m Deborah, the breeder behind AKC/ACA Maltese Of Arizona. I wanted to share some information about myself for some insight. I could use a lot of fluffy words but the truth is breeding chose me. I started out with an unexpected litter with my 2 chihuahuas. I had little experience but it turned out successful. From that experience I took a break to do more research and hone in on myself to become a more knowledgeable breeder. In that regard, I learned about genetic testing and the overall care of the canine species. I also wanted to give my family the joy & experience of caring for animals. Within doing that I was able to teach them responsibility & what compassion truly is. Over the years we’ve had snakes, birds, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, dogs & cats. Very often we rescue trapped animals, so if you can’t tell we are very passionate about animals! We currently have 3 dogs and 1 snake, 2 are the purebred Maltese which are the sire & dam of our 4 new puppies. 1 mixed breed big sister from another mom & dad. I have to say I love all dogs but my favorite breed hands down is the Maltese.
