I am a mom of two young girls living on our farm in Nh with our two large farm/ family dogs. They had a littler and here we are! Well, Ivan and Luna finally decided to move past the “just friends” stage, despite two years of giving off that we’re definitely just roommates vibe. Turns out, I was wrong about their situationship, but hey, unplanned situations have a funny way of turning into the best ones. Ok- a little about the parents: Ivan is the Rottie off Temu. A knockoff of the real deal. Make no mistake, his personality makes up for what he lacks in pure blood. Ivan is a head turner causing whiplash when we go out in public because of his stunning looks. He is athletic, toned, and has the biggest, sweetest blockhead you have seen. He makes men feel like MEN. He once spent the day at the PD and in 30 minutes he several offers of new homes, because what better to solidify your masculinity than with a f**kin bada** dog? Underneath the ripped physique, though, Ivan is all gooey marshmallow. His top priority in life? Two little girls he’d probably take a bullet for—and let paint his nails while he’s at it. He’s had bows in his ears and glitter on his fur, but it’s the big hugs that get him every time. He’s basically an 85-pound stuffed animal with legs. And then there’s Luna. Oh, Luna. She’s the one in the relationship wearing the pants. She’s a big girl and she knows it. She’s got the presence of a bouncer, the athleticism of a parkour enthusiast, and the brains of… well, let’s just say her fight record includes “porcupine” and “lost.” Luna’s drive to protect her farm and family is unmatched—whether it’s against coyotes, bears, or the UPS guy. Subtlety isn’t her strong suit, but dedication? She’s got that in spades. Now, before anyone gets judgy about the mutt lineage here, let’s take a moment of introspection about your own family tree. Pure bloodlines? Yeah, okay. These pups may not be show-dog material, but they’ll be the best damn family members you could ask for.
