We decided to become a breeder when we said goodbye to our beloved Gracie after 15 years. We started looking for a Boykin Puppy and found they are hard to find in the Midwest. Most breeder we encountered had a long waiting list. We found a breeder in Georgia (Carey knowles Boykins) and purchased Bella first, they had to wait for a male to breed her with, which too 9 months. We then purchased Bailey. Belle and Bailey have very strong blood lines from the same breeder. Both are Boykin Registered and have all required test which go above and beyond any AKC Registry.
