About me

We are a family located in Montrose, Colorado. In May of 2020 we tragically lost my 4 year old Bernedoodle to a rare auto-immune disease. Out of the grace of God, I had the opportunity to meet Hazel Momma. Hazel was almost a year old and was not socialized as a young puppy and was very shy and skittish. Not treat motivated at all and just challenging due to the lack of socialization. She was absolutely gorgeous though and I just fell in love with her. It took several months before we could really pet her but more and more she opened up and decided I was her person. It took about 6 months before my husband could touch and pet her. He almost gave up several times but established a routine with her and low and behold she started trusting him more and more. Hazel Momma is the most intelligent and loving doodle we have ever owned. She has the best manners and really is an angel. She filled a void in my heart and we love her so much. We decided that we really wanted an opportunity to raise one of her puppies and give families a chance to invest in a really great family dog. We were never able to have children of our own, but had a chance to raise my teenage nieces and they have given us four wonderful grandsons that help with the puppies and play with them all the time. Every person who has come over has just fallen in love with them. This experience has filled that void for me. I am so very happy taking care of these puppies everyday. I just love every single one of the little ones. They are so beautiful and just perfect. Because we had those challenges with Hazel we have worked really hard about socializing these puppies and they have zero fear. They are use to loud noises, I started clipping nails and playing with feet and bellies and they do really well. They come inside(thank goodness for hardwood floors), they go outside when it is warm enough. They also already sleep through the night which is amazing. I am a Realtor and work from home and my office is now their dog play pen. I sit with them. I spend as much time as I can with them. If it was up to me I would keep all nine of them but my high school sweetheart says I can't. The puppies do have their declaws removed and they will come with their first shots and dewormer. You do have the ability to meet both Mom which is a bernedoodle and Dad(Odin Braveheart) who is a full Bernese Mountain Dog and just majestic.
